The intention of the project is to return a memory to Venice by embodying a chair with a nostalgia. Crafted from bent beechwood with a rigid leather shell, the San Marco chairs were conceived for the Venice Gardens Foundation of San Marco, and they hold within all the allure and contradictions of the city. In a familiar form, a sinuous plywood shell covered with foam and upholstered in fabrics or leathers from the collection seamlessly blends with the wooden base. The seat can be upholstered as per request.
